I'm in the same boat. Port closes randomly throughout the connection. I need to disconnect and reconnect. I use the damn annoying ./port_forwarding bash script on my synology to get the opened port each time. but since the port closes randomly, I got to often check if it is open. it can remain opened from a full week to just a couple of hours.
